I read that as long as you use it externally (like your OB said) it is fine. If you were ingesting it, it would be harmful. How often do you use the 3 step system? Once, twice a day? That should be fine. I found a website about this and how that not enough is present when you spread some on your face. If I find the website, I will post the link! Good Luck!

Do you really think you can trust everything you read online?

Any jerk-off can put anything they want online. They don’t need to have any credentials and there’s no requirement to tell the truth.

Your doctor went to med school and has years of experience in dealing with pregnancy.

Listen to your OB. He knows more than some random guy on the internet. Plus, your self-esteem matters too! Take care of mom as well as baby. There is so much conflicting advice out there, you are right. But the doctor has been to 7+ years of medical school (and knows MUCH more than that nurse.)

The only question you need answered to whether or not a medication is safe, is ‘does this enter my blood stream?’ If not, then it is safe. No topical face cleaner enters your blood stream.

The nurse and the info you read online are wrong, your doctor is right.
