do i have to have a HS diploma to attend beauty or cosmetology school?
I’m 15.
My dream is to go to cosmetology school
but I don’t go to HS I’m suppose to be home schooling but my mom doesn’t get me books.. My mom forced me out of school just so she could have money to buy her cig’s
but i love styling hair it’s my passion..
I just wanted to know if anyone thinks its possible..

i think you need at least a GED. at least that’s what the commercials for our local beauty school says.

I am not sure if a HS diploma or GED is required by the state board of cosmetology but the school I went to did require you to have one of them.
Check with your state board of licensing. Try Googling "Your state" and "cosmetology board" Also, most schools will not let you attend unless you are at least 17.

or a GED…In all States you have to be atleast 16.
