Can anyone help answers about plastic surgery?

I am looking for information on having an abdominoplasty, and breast lift. I have researched info and am undecided about wether to get implants. All the pics I’ve seen look funny without them, and I have seen two ways they cut you for the tummy tuck, hip to hip and all the way around. Do you think I would be able to fo back to work in two weeks? I work as a receptionist in a doctors office, so I sit down. I also wonder how much of a different that I will look,and what the cost will be in Alabama. I have my first consultation next Friday and would like to have as much info as I can when I go into the office. If I schedule around the first of May i wonder if I will be well enough to go on vacation at the end of the month. If I have the surgery and lose weight will it look ok or will I have to go back and have more lipo. I would really like to talk with someone that has had this done and would’nt mind sharing pictures. Anybody that has any kind of breast plastic surgery done?!?

well i am scared to have a much needed breast augmentation and breast lift combination. I’ve watched the surgeries and it looks painful but i need to have it done, if i ever want to find a husband.
Does it hurt?

I am an RN in a small hospital; would our medical director/(a cosmetic MD) negotiate w/me on some surgery? ?

I am an RN at a small hospital; our medical director is a cosmetic surgeon. He has recently done some cosmetic work on some other nurses at the hospital. I also want to have some work done, and went for a consultation. I felt his estimate was a bit high, and would like to try to negotiate a lower price. While I do not want to insult him, I do think I can get a better deal. I want a breast lift/reduction, mini tummy tuck, and little bit of lipo on the flanks. Total cost at the office would be ,800 per his estimate. I think that’s too high and want to pay about ,800 for everything. I have drafted a note for the "negotiation" to him, but wonder if this would be too insulting or make him angry? I know they go through a lot of training, etc.., etc.., ..but that is still a good payday for him, even with my proposed lower fees. I am in great health, have had a few other "procedures" done before, and think this surgeon is skilled and he is board certified, experienced, etc. So, what do you think?

Plastic surgery after massive weight loss?

I’m in the process of losing over 100 pounds with great success (yay me!) but it looks like the loose skin I now have is not going to bounce back, even with the exercise I’m doing. Has anyone out there been in my situation and had plastic surgery such as breast lift, arm lift, tummy tuck, buttocks lift, etc.(or all of the above!) and what has your experience been? THANK YOU!

Has anybody had a breast reduction and tummy tuck together? How long did it take you to recover?

I’m on a weight loss mission in 2007, and I’m hoping to lose 115 pounds.

I am hoping against hope that I won’t have to have a ton of plastic surgery to achieve the kind of body I want, and I am desperately afraid of being put under general anesthesia.

Has anyone had both a breast lift or reduction and a tummy tuck at the same time under local anesthesia and sedation?

Also, how long did it take you to recover from the surgery? How long did you need to have someone at your home to help you?
