What is the cost of removing one acne scar?
Four months ago I had a large acne cyst on my nose that had to be removed by a dermatologist, who said that there should be no resulting scar. Unfortunately, I was still left with a large, raised reddish-purple scar that has not shown signs of fading since. What would be the best surgical method of removal and how much would it cost? im a teen and i have mild acne. i had Proactiv for about 2/3 years. i only used it whenever i had an outbreak and i rarely had any acne back then so i didnt really use it alot, so about 4 months ago i switched to using the Acne Free 3 step little treatment, its just like proactiv but cheaper, and ive been using that for 3 months day and night and ive also been using Clearasil Stayclear Oil Free Daily Face Wash everyday and night. it isnt doing anything for me. ive been hoping that it would work after i used it for a while but im throwing in the towel. my friend had real severe acne and he went to his dermatologist and they put him on a treatment program called Active or Activa or Acutain or something like that and it worked great, his face is clear. i dont have a dermatologist bc i didnt think my acne was that bad, but now that its getting worse, i need it, but id like to see if anyone just had a ball park estimate of how much that treatment program costs?
so basically, i want to know how much that treatment costs (Active or Activa, or Acutane i cant remember)?
and also i just want to know people’s opinions on what i should do about it, like what products i should use?
actually, i just googled it and its called Activia?
Has anyone had luck with the prescription acne treatment accutane?
My son’s dermatologist is trying a prescription body wash for my son’s severe acne, and said if this doesn’t work, he will try accutane. I was reading up on the literature he gave us about it and some of the side effects are pretty bad. I’d like to hear from someone who’s used it, did it help the acne? What side effects did you have?
How can I launch a homemade skin care line?
I have an idea for a skin care line, and I’ve heard of others doing very well after starting small. So, what steps do I take to actually do this?

I need to have liposuction done on my underarms in order to remove my sweat glands. My dermatologist stated that it takes about an 1 hour for the whole procedure. I just have to find a plastic surgeon to do it, but plastic surgeons around my town charge for consultations. I was just wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost for such a small area. I know it can run more than 2 grand for large areas.

How does oral medication for acne know how to clear up the area?
I have a minor acne problem on my chin and the corner of mouth. I recently went to the dermatologist to find out how to get rid of it. She prescribed oral medication that treats acne. My question is how does the oral medicine know where the acne is and how does it clear it up? I guess I'm just really skeptical about this whole thing. Thanks!
