I really love makeup and beauty. Whenever my sister comes home from college, I do her eyebrows for her–and it always turns out looking very nicely done! I’ve even done two other friends’ eyebrows, and they’ve been happy with the result. I know all about how to shape brows for specific face shapes.
But that’s not the point. Many of my best answers have been in the Beauty and Style section, and I find that I am able to answer most of the makeup and skincare questions. I also frequent makeup boards, so my head is filled with tons of tips about applying makeup and skincare. I even did my own makeup for prom and everyone thought I had it done professionally.

The thing is… most people I know view cosmetology as a shallow and pointless field of work. I love cosmetology, but I don’t want to work in the dingy little salon on the corner. You know what I mean.

What should I do? Is there a similar career I should think about? Writing beauty magazines, maybe?
