Do you think it's wrong to get plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons?
Boobjobs, nosejobs, tummy tucks…we’re having ourselves cut open and injecting unnatural things in our body—is this wrong or perfectly fine or do you find yourself in the middle? i want some opinions!

How much do different types of plastic surgery cost? ?
I mean a good job, not a cheap job that’s going to end up making you sick.

Why is Obama wanting to regulate the one area of medicine that actually operates on the “free-market”?
Americans wealthy enough to afford cosmetic surgery could be asked to pay a bit more for their tummy tucks and pectoral implants to fund treatment for Americans who cannot afford basic healthcare.

Obama is wanting to tax the last great frontier of "free-market" medicine in America – cosmetic surgery. This is the one area of medicine where demand has increased and prices have dramatically decreased.
To get a little more perspective, what if you take a look at the part of health care that is not regulated and really is a free market, cosmetic surgery. This is a pure negotiation between patient and doctor without regulated insurance or state or federal medical programs. LASIK and other procedures keep getting cheaper and more effective, yet in the rest of health care we see inflation.

Real markets already exist in cosmetic surgery; buyers seek good prices and providers compete for business. Thanks to competition and ready access to information, real prices in cosmetic surgery have fallen over time.

And how about Lasik eye surgery (costs a third today of what it did 10 years ago)…cosmetic surgery (stable prices despite a 6X increase in demand since early 1990s)

I bet all this will change once Obama gets his grubby socialist paws on the healthcare system.
