Signs and Symptoms of Infection- depression is normal during the recovery phase, but be cautious! suicidal tendencies are common- give support and encouragement! always ask your health provider for any question regarding her state!

i work in ICU and had a pt with a pulmonary embolism from his tummy tuck, does she have any difficulty breathing or are her breath sounds clear?, also the more she moves the better, dont let her just lie there or she could develop one too, the quicker you get moving after surgery the better your chances of recovery, but not enough so that she gets a hernia around the area, a PE is serious, a DVT is serious, (blood clot) can break away and go to the heart (MI), brain (stroke), or lungs (PE), you should have her go back to the doctor please

Hi there!
Tummy tuck complication is usually unlikely as tummy tuck is a very safe procedure when performed by a qualified plastic surgeon on an appropriately healthy candidate. However, there are some cases where patients experienced issues such as infection, blood clots, pooling of blood beneath the skin, excess fluid accumulation or loss of tissue. In other rare cases, the patient may also encounter pulmonary emboli. In addition, the formation of raised or irregular scars is also possible.
