She provided plenty of photo's of other people who have had verious procedures. Other Dr's would only show a few images they had on their web site. She explained the procedure and answered all questions that I had. I felt very comforable "as comforable as one can get waering only a paper gown" during the consultation. I have check-out a few Dr's since Dr. Rajagopal, but I have decided to schedule my procedure with her. I feel that she had the best mix of technical skill and bedside manner. If it matters I am Male. Especially for something like a nose. If it were a tummy tuck or breast implants, you might feel better with a woman, but basically, docs see you as what problem you have and what do you want them to do about it. I'm an OR nurse and have seen great plastic surgeons of both sexes. It's more your choice than anything else. As long as the plastic surgeon is Board Certified, has good reviews by others and you are comfortable with that person, it doesn’t matter what sex they are.
Especially for something like a nose. If it were a tummy tuck or breast implants, you might feel better with a woman, but basically, docs see you as what problem you have and what do you want them to do about it.
I’m an OR nurse and have seen great plastic surgeons of both sexes. It’s more your choice than anything else.

I think with a female I would be more comfortable and have a nice atmosphere, but with a male I would just feel more comfortable that he knows what he's doing.
